Swat Valley Tour

This tour gives you the chance to explore and experience the beauty of Swat Valley, experiencing mesmerizing views at every turn. Swat Valley with fruit laden orchards, flower filled slopes, meandering waterfalls and tumbling streams is an unmatched masterpiece of God. The aura of peace and tranquility sets the romantic mood and one feels completely out of this world for a few days.

Day 1 - Drive from Islamabad to Saidu Sharif (approx. 280 kms/5 hrs). Arrive and transfer to the hotel. The afternoon is at leisure to get you acclimatized and to explore the local area. Overnight in Saidu Sharif.

Day 2 - Breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to Kalam (approx. 120 kms/3 hrs) along the winding road along the Kalam River with its beautiful scenery and rapid running water. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, you are free to relax and enjoy the scenery among the rhythmic sound of the Kalam River. Overnight in Kalam (breakfast only).

Day 3 - Breakfast at the hotel. The day is at leisure to sit on the wooden knitted benches, enjoy some tea, or visit Ushu Valley or Mahudand Lake. Overnight in Kalam (breakfast only).

Day 4 - Breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Miandam, visiting Madyan and Bahrain en route, the two-side valleys of Swat. Madyan is 35 miles north of Saidu Sharif, lying at an elevation of 4336 ft. The town borders the Swat River and trout fishing is a favorite pastime. Bahrain is 6 miles further north, whose precarious wire bridge and fabulous woodcarving makes it a must see. Miandam lies at an elevation of 6000 ft. and is 35 miles from Saidu Sharif. This is the most beautiful side valley in Swat. We drive through well watered terraced fields to the top of the valley and Miandam Village, one of the coolest and most comfortable places to stay in Swat during summer. From the hotels there are several long walks up the streams to the mountains behind. Overnight in Miandam (breakfast only).

Day 5 - After breakfast, take a full day excursion to Malam Jabba (approx. 60 kms/3 hrs), enjoying a scenic drive where every turn presents a different mesmerizing view. Malam Jabba is becoming a very popular skiing resort in winter, but summers are equally exciting with opportunities to learn the art of skating under the supervision of trainers. It also presents a mesmerizing view of the valley for nature lovers. One can enjoy the traditional lunch at the PTDC Resort Hotel. In the evening drive back to Saidu Sharif. Overnight in Saidu Sharif (breakfast only).

Day 6 - After breakfast drive back to Islamabad visiting Murghazar (White Palace) on the way (approx. 300 kms/7 hrs).
