Murree, also known as the Queen of the Hills, is 2413 metres high. Beyond Murree the hill resorts of Ayubia, Bhurban, Patriata and Nathiagali also offer cool respite from the torrid heat of the plains in the summer months. Perhaps the most sought after is the Nathiagali, 32km form Murree and at a height of 2510 m. Ayubia is famous for its nature walks. Bhurban, besides being famous for its golf course also presents a breath taking view of the surroundings.

Day 1 - Drive from Islamabad to Murree (approx. 70 kms/2 hrs). Arrive and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon you are at leisure to explore the local area and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Overnight in Murree (for deluxe category, overnight stay in Pearl Continental Hotel Bhurban). No meals included.
Day 2 - After breakfast at the hotel, take a full day excursion to Patriata, a resort about 15km south east of Murree, which has been developed on a virgin site on a 2223m high ridge. It offers a breath taking view of high forests and deep intersecting valleys with terraced slopes. With a pleasant climate, the resort is equipped with dual chairlift and cable car system from Gulera Gali to Patriata Ridge. There are many small shops to buy eatables from. In the evening drive back to Murree. Take a short stroll or simply look around at the local handicrafts shops on the famous Mall Road. Overnight at the hotel (breakfast only).
Day 3 - After breakfast drive to Nathiagali (approx. 40 kms/1 hr), visiting Ayubia en route. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the tranquil surroundings with birds singing and beautiful scenery. Overnight in Nathiagali (breakfast only).
Day 4 - Breakfast at the hotel. The day at leisure to enjoy the surroundings or take a track from Mukshpuri Top (9800 ft) to Ayubia. On your way you are likely to see hundreds of wild flowers and colourful butterflies. You will also have superb views overlooking Kashmir and Abbottabad or you can just take a walk on the winding road amongst beautiful pine trees and fresh air. Overnight in Nathiagali. (Breakfast only)
Day 5 - After breakfast drive back to Islamabad (approx. 105 kms/3 hrs).
